The short version: your speech never leaves your phone, your progress never leaves your phone, and we hold no accounts.
Speech. What you say is turned into text on your own device, using your phone's built-in speech recognition. The audio is never uploaded, recorded by us, or stored anywhere.
Text. To generate your conversation partner's reply, the words you say or type are sent through our server to an AI language model. The server keeps no logs and stores nothing; the text is used only to produce the reply and is discarded. If you choose not to allow microphone access, you can type instead, and only what you type is sent.
Progress. Streaks, sessions, transcripts and settings live in your device's local storage inside the app. They are not synced, not backed up to any cloud by us, and the app opts out of Android's automatic device backup. Clearing the app's data erases them completely.
Purchases. Ambilo Pro is sold through Google Play. We never see your name, payment details or email — Google processes the purchase and tells us an anonymous account identifier so we can unlock Pro. You can restore Pro on any device signed into the same Play account.
Children. Ambilo is not directed at children under 13.
Your rights. Because we hold no personal records, there is nothing for us to export or delete — clearing the app removes everything. Questions: francis@loadcircle.co.uk.
